Again the Farm Lodge in Radcliffe, is another stunning water which is run by
Bolton Anglers. This venue is only a stones throw from the Dingle
Lodge, which is an added bonus because if ones not fishing to well,
you can always pop over to the other then your sure to catch! Farm
Lodge holds some fantastic fish such as carp, roach, perch and bream
however many people tend to fish for the carp on this water which go
up to 24lbs.
Hot Fishing Spots:
Fishing can be very good all round this venue, the carp tend to hang around the top section of water
pictured above.
Best Baits:
Feeders for the bream, maggot, caster, worm and
bread for all other types of fish, carp will take boilies and small
PVA bags but again don't over do it.
Disability Access:
Disability access is not to dandy and when wet, can
be very muddy, the water is actually situated in the middle of a cow
field.
Car Parking:
There is ample car parking on Churchill Drive, Little
Lever, fishermen tend to leave cars on the roadside. Also you can
park your car on Far Hey close on the Radcliffe side of the water.

Where to find Farm Lodge:
Farm lodge can be found through Little Lever, turn
right towards Radcliffe, then turn right into Harper Fold Rd. Right
again into Far Hey Close, access between the houses on the left, or
through Little Lever, Stopes Rd. Turn right into Haywood Ave. Turn
left into Churchill Dr. Access between the houses.
The all important prices. Farm Lodge comes under rule of Bolton anglers and
cost £22.00 per year (2008) and is worth every penny, go on get
