Here are a
coupe of knots that I am currently using. Knot tying can be a pain
but once you have mastered the basics it can be fun! Remember to
lubricate the knot with some spit before pulling your knot tight,
this will help stop friction and reduce curling line!
The knot which I use most of all is it the Blood
/ Grinner knot.
Remember! use the right knot for the job... Other wise it
could cost you!
Always leave a short tail of line on your hook
knot.
This helps to prevent your knot from slipping under strain and
coming undone when you get a fish on.
Many anglers prefer to use the same
knot for tying all their tackle together, this procedure can lead to
fish and end tackle loss. It was only last week a friend and I went
fishing and he lost a marker float due to a badly tied knot... The
out come £9.00 on top of his fishing fees, not to mention the lead
he lost as well. So remember, learn your knots!
