Pilsworth is fine fishery
and holds a good head of carp to 30lb. Eric the owner spends most of
his time on the venue, so if you need any information about the
fishery you can speak to him in person or
you can phone him directly on 01706 630 619. We went for a week at
Pilsworth fisheries but we only managed 3 days because of unforeseen
circumstances. In all I had quite a few carp but they were only
about 5lb we also caught a shed full of bream lol!The Picture below is the view of the water when you come off
the car park!
I sat here with the wind and the rain in my face for
3 days and was very disappointed to see I only had a couple of fish
on the bank I was talking to a guy on the bank when I caught a
bream.. he said the bream in here are getting bigger...! I laughed
and replied I am not surprised they are eating all the carp bait lol!
The picture
above is Mark with one of the better fish the venue has to
offer, a nice mirror carp caught just before it went dark. I will be
trying Pilsworth fisheries again but during November / December.
Eric the owner says Pilsworth is a pretty good carp water in winter.
